Drive- Thru Job Fair – Emporia

The Emporia Workforce Center will be hosting a Drive-Thru Job Fair from 10am – 2pm on Wednesday, May 27th. This event is in conjunction with the State of Kansas Virtual Statewide Job Fair. During this time Southeast KANSASWORKS staff will be handing out packets of information containing job applications and job orders as well as additional information about community resources.
The Drive-Thru Job Fair will be held at 215 W. 6th Ave in Emporia. Job seekers are asked to enter the south parking lot from the West, pickup a packet and exit through the East exit. (Follow signs) The assembled packets will be “no-touch” meaning they have been assembled by staff who are wearing masks/gloves with one person handling the packets as customers remain in their cars during the designated pickup time.
Employers who are hiring at this time are encouraged to reach out to the Workforce Center staff to include your job listings and applications in the packets.
