Laps 4 Landon 2018- Emporia

Don’t miss Laps 4 Landon held Tues. April 17^th at ESU from 6p-8pm. Laps for Landon is held every April to raise awareness regarding Cystic Fibrosis and those in our community who battle the disease daily. It is named after 11-year-old Emporia resident Landon Dody, who was diagnosed when he was just a few months old. The event is planned & carried out by the ESU Health Promotion majors as a capstone project for one of their courses. Participants are encouraged to walk laps on the Emporia State track, place bids at our silent auction, and purchase tickets at our prizes tables. There is a bouncy house for kiddos & a Plinko board that is popular with all ages! Many ESU athletes from various sports will be on the field to play with older kids. The Lazy Butt BBQ Crew will once again be on-site serving a delicious dinner for a donation of any amount. They participate in honor of 2-year-old Emporia resident, Aiden Drier, who was diagnosed at birth with CF. Show up hungry & ready to have an amazing time! There will be live music & LOTS OF FUN.
