Keep It a Safe Summer

The annual Keep It a Safe Summer event is Wednesday, May 23rd 5:00-7:00pm at the Anderson Building Lyon County Fairgrounds.
Free food, fun and games, and the 3rd Annual K.I.S.S. 5k & 2k Fun Run! The first 2o0 kids registered are free thanks to Clint Bowyer Autoplex! The participating kids will be entered in a special drawing for a pair of running shoes from Brown’s Shoe Fit in Emporia! Register by May 16th, children PreK (4yr) to 5th grade. 5k adult race entry is $25. Registration forms can be found at Emporia Rec Center or at the Lyon County Extension Office.
New this year, children preK-5th grade get to choose one of the following packages: bicycle helmet, swim package, or disc golf package through the generosity of the Emporia Community Foundation and the Sadie Jones Trust!
KISS 103.1 will also be broadcasting live from the event from 5pm- 7pm!
