Dia De Los Muertos Window Decorating Contest

Emporia Main Street is encouraging all businesses to get into the Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) spirit with their first annual window decorating contest. They would like to businesses to decorate their windows in conjunction with the Dia de los Muertos or Halloween starting October 22 and have them decorated through Halloween. They will be judging the top three windows via online votes October 25th & 26th and will announce the winners on the 27th at the Dia De Los Muertos celebration hosted by Hispanics of Today and Tomorrow. The top 3 windows will receive $50, $30, and $20 in Main Street Gift Certificates. Please contact the Emporia Main Street Office if you would like to be in the contest, 620-340-6430.
