Hungry for History Food Drive

Lyon County History Center is partnering with Emporia at the Table Initiative, Healthier Lyon County and Lyon County Food and Farm Council to present “Hungry for History: The Lyon County Food System, an online collaboration that will run Nov 16-30th.  Tracing the history of food production, processing, distribution and consumption in Lyon County. In addition they are also holding a food drive for families who may need help this holiday season. They are asking the community to donate non-perishable food items to be donated at the Lyon County History Center throughout the month of November. The items will be donated to a local food bank.
